Simple Plan - Untitled (How Could This Happen to Me?) at Alaeddin’s Blog

I’ve never been a fan of punk rock. For example, most of Goo Goo Dolls older materials was in this genre. I think you reach an age where that stuff just doesn’t appeal to you anymore.

Simple Plan, the band I’m featuring today, started out aiming at a pure pop-punk record. That’s very evident in their first album No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls. However, in their most recent studio album, Still Not Getting Any…, they were not limiting themselves to the punk genre, but rather letting themselves write just some "good music".

Indeed, today’s featured song, oddly titled Untitled, falls under this category. The song is notable as one of the group’s more serious songs, and for the salient vocals and piano.
