Well today was an amazing day. I had proved to myself once again that I rock at what I do!

I was supposed to give a presentation to top management and our client about where we are at the end of the first analysis phase in this new project that I’m entirely responsible for. So as always, I wasted no effort preparing a kick ass presentation slides with great content and all. I was dressed in full business attire. I invited everyone ahead of time and I got everything set up and ready to go.

The presentation went so smoothly and I was presenting my ideas without actually memorizing a script or having cue cards like I used to have in college :). It was all too good. The attendees were, what is that word, yes.. mesmerized ;)

And to top it off, our customer himself said after the presentation ” .. and I’d also like to thank you for getting such professional and qualified people on the project. I mean we had couple of vendors in the past who tried to give us a solution but they just jumped right into whatever they had in their heads and we couldn’t see the overall picture so they were no use for us.”

Ok cut the crap .. i think what the guy is trying to say is that I kick so much ass I lose track of whose ass I kicked last :)

Anyways, the point is, everyday I believe more and more that I’ve picked the perfect career. It’s really not easy nowadays to be 100% sure that “this” is what you wanna do… but I DO! So I thank god for this, for helping me find my soul mate career. And I pray that He will help me find my other soul mate who’ll just make this all the more worthwhile, but until then, I’ll just keep enjoying what I do!
